How to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account deleted during Beta 0.1 — and exactly how those requests are handled.
BelongFlow is in Beta 0.1: a controlled test with a small number of invited communities. Features, screens and wording will change during the beta, and this document will change with them. It is written in plain language by the product team and is not attorney-reviewed final launch language.
There is no self-serve delete button yet. Every export, correction and deletion request is handled manually by the operating team and actioned within 30 days. Requests are made through Support.
We provide the profile details, community memberships, event participation and attendance history held about you, in a readable file.
Most details — name, contact, photo, city, socials, and your per-community answers — can be changed by you in your profile at any time. Ask us for anything you cannot reach yourself.
Your sign-in identity and personal profile are removed. Where a community relies on its own attendance record, your participation is de-identified in that community's history rather than erased from it, so the community's past events remain accurate. We will tell you what was removed and what was de-identified.
Signing in verifies who you are; it does not subscribe you to anything. Community updates and organizer messages come from communities you joined, are in-app during the beta, and you can ask a community's organizers to stop messaging you — or ask us to.
Self-serve export, self-serve deletion, and automated retention schedules are deliberately not built during Beta 0.1. We would rather run a small number of requests by hand, correctly, than ship a partial delete that leaves data behind.
