How to ask about your information, correct it, or ask us to close your account — and exactly how those requests are handled today.
This document describes what BelongFlow does today, in plain language. It will be updated as the product changes.
Request → Verify & review → Final confirmation → Closure. You submit a request from inside your signed-in account for access to or correction of your information, or to close your account. A person at BelongFlow verifies that the request came from the account holder and reviews it. Before anything changes we explain what actions are available for your request and what records may need to be retained. An approved closure request comes back to your signed-in account so you make the final decision yourself.
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you — profile details, community memberships, event participation and attendance history — and walk through it with you. There is no automated export file yet.
Most details — name, contact, photo, city, socials, and your per-community answers — can be changed by you in your profile at any time. Ask us for anything you cannot reach yourself.
Sending a closure request starts a reviewed request; it does not close your account. A person reviews it with you after confirming the request came from you, and explains what can be removed and what has to stay. If the request is approved, it returns to your signed-in account: you make the final decision, re-enter your current password and confirm, and closure begins only then. You can cancel the request at any point before closure begins; once it begins, cancelling is no longer available. Closure removes or severs the personal account identity covered by this process and signs you out. Some de-identified records and organization-owned operational history may need to be retained to preserve legitimate event or community history, security and audit integrity, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable law. If you own a community, its ownership has to be transferred or resolved before closure can proceed; we never transfer it for you automatically.
Signing in verifies who you are; it does not subscribe you to anything. Community updates and organizer messages come from communities you joined, are in-app, and you can ask a community's organizers to stop messaging you — or ask us to. Organizers do not receive your message-read information.
Automated data export is not yet available. Account closure is a reviewed request: BelongFlow verifies and reviews it first, and if it is approved you come back to make the final decision, re-enter your current password and confirm. You can cancel until closure begins. Some de-identified records and organization-owned operational history may remain where retention is legitimate.
